Registration is available for the 15th FINA World Spors Medicine Congress, which takes place Tuesday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 13 in the Sagamore Ballroom. The Sports Medicine Congress takes place immediately following the upcoming 2004 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m). Scientists, physicians, students, certified athletic trainers, athletes, and coaches are invited to network, discuss and learn about the most popular topics in sports medicine for aquatic sports. The event is jointly- sponsored by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) , and Indiana Sports Corporation, and funded by St. Vincent Sport Medicine.

International Olympic Committee medical director Dr. Patrick Schamasch will be discussing some of the anti- doping programs used at the Olympic Games in Athens. United States Olympic Committee director of sports medicine Ed Ryan also will be delivering a lecture at the event.
