Convention Center Company Information

The Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome has been an integral part of the city since the original exposition center opened in 1972. The building expanded its exhibit space and meeting room space and added the RCA Dome (originally named the Hoosier Dome) in 1984.

Demand for increased space brought about the Phase III expansion in 1993. The convention center was renovated and meeting space was added again. The Sagamore Ballroom, the largest in the state of Indiana, also opened at this time.

Most recently, the Phase IV Expansion answered the ever-increasing demand for even more exhibit and meeting room space. This $45 million expansion also has added new entrances on Maryland Street, a new skywalk linking to the new Marriott Hotel and a beautiful landscaped plaza and new entrance at West Street.
